"Medeia 1.0" is a project that uses fashion to inform people of global events and social issues captured by photographers from Japan and abroad.
The publishing label, "Medeia 2.0," marks the next phase of the project, focusing not only on piercing truths but also on the "margins" of thought and emotion. Issue 4 focuses on the keyword "devastation," a theme that emerges from the work of photographer Hiroko Komatsu, whose installation works emphasize the materiality of photography. To commemorate the release of the photobook, we have created a collaboration T-shirt with Hiroko Komatsu. The T-shirt features a luxurious print of a photograph excerpt from the book.
